The 100-hour, Level 2 training course will continue to build upon the themes and objectives of the first year, with a greater emphasis on the trainee’s own clinical work and professional development, along with opportunities to examine the influence of one’s family of origin.
There will be specific approaches to psychosis, anorexia, the effects of trauma, violence and abuse and child-focused problems. The convergences between Dialogic Practice and contemporary scientific advances (parent-child communications studies, neurobiology, relational mind research, medication studies) will also be identified.
Students who complete Level 2 receive a Certificate of Completion. CEUs are available through NASW and being pursued for other disciplines.
