The Institute for Dialogic Practice was founded in the U.S. by Dr. Mary Olson in collaboration with Dr. Jaakko Seikkula and the original Open Dialogue team at Keropudas Hospital in Tornio, Finland. The Institute is the only North American teaching facility that specializes in providing world-class training in Open Dialogue and Dialogic Practice delivered by the field’s leading experts and developers.
The training program provides the basic foundation in Open Dialogue as a network-based approach to crisis work, and in Dialogic Practice with individuals, couples, families, and organizations.
The Institute for Dialogic Practice a state-of-the-art training facility located in the serene New England countryside outside Northampton, Massachusetts. The Institute provides training on-site, and its faculty coordinate the Open Dialogue Finland/U.S. research program.
